We decided to
squeeze in a summer vacation right before the kids started back. We got a HOT deal on a trip to the Bahamas, Nassau to be exact. 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo right on the beach. Luckily enough, the kids got their passports about 2 weeks before. Booked the vacation Weds. around 11:30 pm., left Saturday morning at 9am. Not a lot of time to get ready, but you really only need shorts & a bathing suit, so we were set! We all had a good time, and Dean (hurricane) decided to go South, not North, so we didn't have to leave in a panic. Weather was great, water was beautiful, and we all had a nice time.
